Arrived in Israel

Weary travelers from both USA and Egypt arrived at hotel outside Tel Aviv late last night.  All are safe and well.  The Israel group finished out their adventure with a hike to the top of Mt Moses  (Sinai).  It was challenging--some rode camels and some hiked, but the scenery and experience were incredible.  We spent lots of time in the wilderness of Sinai.  Really incredible scenery--gave great insight into what it must have been like to spend 40 years wandering there.  Indeed, God was great to provide manna, quail, and water in that desolate place for his children.

Getting into Israel was slow coming across from Egypt--some passed through easily, but some were checked very carefully.  This is common when entering this country.  Eventually, all were admitted safely.

Today we begin our real study time with Dr. Charles Page--as we travel to Caesarea Maritima, Sephorris, Nazareth, and other sites.  Wish you were all here to learn with us.  We are taking lots of great pictures, so we will find a way to share our experience when we get home.  Please pray for our safe travel.
